Askinosie Chocolate

In 2010 Gethsemani Farms began testing a new chocolate for use in the production of our Chocolate Walnut Fudge. The chocolate is produced by a company who not only strives for the highest attainable quality they also deal directly with the farmers and give them a stake in the outcome by paying higher than fair trade prices. They also share with them10% of net profits. These high ethical standards along with the quality of the chocolate have convinced the monks to expand this experiment to our other flavors. So beginning in 2011 we will be using Askinosie chocolate in the production of our fudges. Askinsoie has created a blend of chocolates for use in our fudges that we are sure you will enjoy.
